J+J/Invision carpets are designed to exceed your expectations in performance, not to mention color and design. We stand on and behind every aspect of our carpet, including fiber, backings and adhesives. As a matter of fact, when we offer a warranty, chances are it's a Lifetime Warranty. We're that sure!
Fiber Warranties
Encore® SD Ultima® Lifetime Fiber Warranty
Encore® BCF, INVISTA Antron® and Ultron® Nylon Lifetime Fiber Warranty
Wear Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that after proper installation, carpet made with Ultron Nylon 6,6 or with 100% Encore SD Ultima will retain at least 90% of its pile fiber for the useful life of the carpet. This is a limited lifetime warranty on fiber loss from abrasive wear and is not intended as a warranty on matting, crushing or watermarking. Also excluded are damage due to tears, burns, pulls, pilling, shedding, pets or any damage other than normal wear. Damage due to improper maintenance or installation defects are also excluded. This warranty does not include stairs and is subject to General Terms and Conditions.
Static Protection Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that products manufactured with 100% Encore SD Ultima will retain a lifetime static protection below 3.0 kv, as tested by AATCC-134. J+J/Invision warrants that carpets constructed of Ultron Nylon 6,6 shall not generate static shock exceeding 3.0 kv for the useful life of the carpet. The threshold for normal human sensitivity is 3.0 when tested by AATCC test method 134.
Stain Removal Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that all products manufactured with 100% Encore SD Ultima will resist permanent staining caused by spots and spills for the lifetime of the carpet.
Colorfastness Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that products manufactured with 100% Encore SD Ultima and installed for indoor use only will not undergo a significant change in color due to exposure to light or exposure to atmospheric contaminants for the lifetime of the carpet. Broadloom Backing Warranties
PremierBac® Plus Lifetime Warranty
Endure® Plus Lifetime Warranty
TitanBac® Plus Lifetime Warranty
The use of Commericalon® Premium Carpet Adhesive and Commericalon® Premium Carpet Seam Sealer is required for all enhanced broadloom backings (i.e. TitanBac Plus and Endure Plus). If Commercialon adhesives are not used with the TitanBac Plus and Endure Plus backings, the lifetime performance warranties are reduced to three years. PremierBac Plus is standard with lifetime warranties; however, we recommend the use of Commercialon Premium Carpet Adhesive and Commercialon Premium Carpet Seam Sealer.
Tuft Bind Warranty (including edge ravel, yarn pulls, zippering) - J&J Industries warrants that under normal use, carpet will not fail to perform due to insufficient tuft bind as evidenced by edge ravel, yarn pulls and zippering.
Delamination Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that under normal use, carpet will not fail to perform due to the delamination of the secondary backing. Although not required, chair pads are strongly recommended under chairs with rolling casters to preserve appearance and to prevent accelerated wear.
Moisture Penetration (Endure Plus & TitanBac Plus) - J&J Industries warrants that under normal use, carpet will maintain a functional barrier to moisture penetration.
Modular Backing Warranties
eKo® Modular Lifetime Warranty
Nexus® Modular Lifetime Warranty
Nexus® Cushion Modular Lifetime Warranty
The use of Commercialon® Modular Adhesive is required for Nexus backed products. ekoTac Modular Adhesive is required for eKo backed products in order to obtain lifetime performance warranties.
Tuft Bind Warranty (including edge ravel, yarn pulls, zippering) - J&J Industries warrants, that under normal use, carpet will not fail to perform due to the delamination of the secondary backing. Although not required, chair pads are recommended under chairs with rolling casters to preserve appearance and to prevent accelerated wear.
Dimensional Stability - J&J Industries warrants, that under normal use and atmospheric conditions, Nexus® and eKo Modular are dimensionally stable and will not shrink, grow, cup, or dome.
Moisture Penetration Warranty - J&J Industries warrants that, under normal use, carpet will maintain a functional barrier to moisture penetration.
