Special Treatments
At J+J/Invision our job is to make you feel secure in carpet investment. This is why we offer treatments to help the carpet to resist soiling, increase cleanability and protect your health - allowing you to performance match the needs of each individual space. All J+J/Invision carpet treatments are guaranteed to remain on your carpet through regular maintenance cleanings including hot water extraction.
ProTex® Soil Release
All carpet fibers need protection to improve resistance to soiling and at J+J/Invision, this is standard on every product we make. Protex is a patented fluorochemical treatment that is applied and bonded to the pile fiber to impede soiling and to improve cleanability.
ProTex is uniformly incorporated into the carpet’s face fibers using leading edge technology. This application process provides a more uniform coverage than a conventional spray-on fluorochemical. This process is completed when exposed to high levels of heat during finishing of the carpet composite to maximize the bonding of Protex to the nylon.
ProSept® Antimicrobial
ProSept is a unique bactericide-fungicide added to the carpet backing system to serve a dual function to protect the carpet from both bacterial and fungal growth and to eliminate odors associated with mold and fungi. ProSept bactericide-fungicide is a highly active, broad-spectrum, antimicrobial agent, with zero calculated VOCs.
Additionally, ProSept boasts chemical stability in highly alkaline environments, allowing it to operate effectively against bacteria and fungi on concrete where other biocides may degrade. This process can be added to any J+J/Invision product.
ColorLoc® Plus
Our sustainable product development options also include a stain resistant technology called ColorLoc Plus. This stain resistant application enables carpets to resist permanent staining from both acid (coffee, sodas, tea and wine) and disperse-type (betadine, ketchup and mustard) agents and enables a stain to be effectively cleaned. ColorLoc Plus is inherent in the yarn, therefore it will not rinse off.
This technology improves the cleaning effluent (water removed after cleaning) and by using this technology, products will last longer – further reducing the environmental footprint of the space.

Sentir™ Advanced Odor-Blocking Technology
Sentir is a breakthrough odor-blocking technology for broadloom and modular commercial carpet. This self-renewing treatment is designed to control or eliminate offensive odors associated with indoor environments and is particularly effective on odor-bearing spills.
Sentir is not merely a deodorant that masks odors. It is a technology designed specifically to get to the root of the odor and neutralize it. By blocking the odor and fragmenting it into component parts over a period of time, Sentir effectively eliminates it. In addition, Sentir technology is not weakened in this process. Sentir's binding properties lock into the carpet to provide unyielding resistance against hard cleaning and heavy trafficking, ensuring lasting results for the life of the carpet.
